Our COVID-19 Health and Safety Precautions

COVID preparedness: All branches of the Howard Karagheusian MBPO have adjusted their operations to continue providing primary preventive care to children.

Since the organization is medical and charitable, in force majeure circumstances the need for its services increases even more. Immediately after the outbreak of COVID-19 in March 2020, the management of the organization developed action algorithms per international recommendations and recommendations of the government of the Republic of Armenia:

• All Howard Karagheusian MBPO centers were switched to work in force majeure conditions.
• The number of patients was drastically reduced to avoid the spread of the viral infection, except for those in need of emergency care.
• Virtual consultation was introduced.
• Stocks of hygiene and antiseptic products were sharply increased.
• All medical personnel were provided with personal protective equipment.
• Seats in the waiting rooms have been arranged per the requirements of social distancing; additional outdoor seating was also provided.
• Intervals between visits have been increased.
• A lot of work has been done to disseminate educational information.
• The entire staff of All Howard Karagheusian MBPO was vaccinated promptly.
