Dr. Miron Allukyan's visit to Armenia
From September 19 to 28, 2019, Howard Karagheusian MBPO hosted a recognized Armenian-American specialist, a lecturer at Harvard, Tufts, and Boston University dental schools, and a consultant at NYU Langone Health Academic Medical Center, Dr. Miron Allukyan Jr.
Dr. Allukyan spent most of his time in the “Nork” clinic, where he got acquainted with the clinic’s work and gave valuable instructions, especially in the field of preventive dentistry.
During the visit, Dr. Allukian and the team discussed the issue of creating the “Dental Prevention” program in detail.
The American University of Armenia and Mkhitar Heratsi Medical State University organized meetings with Dr. Allukyan, during which he delivered two lectures. Our doctors were also present at those lectures.
Dr. Allukyan also visited our clinics in Gyumri and Vanadzor. He studied the work of doctors with great interest, then gave helpful advice. Some of those tips have already been applied in the work of the newly built clinic in Gyumri.
Dr. Allukyan’s visit gave new energy to the team of the Dental Program.
